Wedding party strikes funny poses on Chambers Bay patio

I tend to prefer wedding party groupings that alternate bridesmaids and groomsmen over those that put all the girls on the bride's side and the guys on the groom's, although I usually shoot both versions at all my weddings. One of the benefits to the mixed-gender groupings is the potential for fun spinoffs, like in this photo. As for lighting, I'm using three different radio-controlled Speedlites to light up everyone's faces, because even though all those dramatic clouds are softening the light considerably, the brightest light source was still in the sky behind them, and if I wanted to keep those clouds in the left corner from blowing out to white, I needed three of my flash guns to do it. This photo was taken on the patio at the Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington.
