Army grooms smile in wedding when pronounced married

This photo is from the end of a same-sex wedding between soldiers in the U.S. Army that was held in the Fort Lewis North Chapel. Same-sex weddings in Washington were made possible after the 2012 passage of Referendum 74, and this was our first between two men in uniform. I've always enjoyed photographing military weddings, and here's two men in uniform for the price of one! This photo is from the end of their wedding ceremony, with everyone smiling big at the pronouncement of the two men as a married couple.
