Its centerpiece, the Wagner House, is a historic Georgian-style mansion that sits high on a bluff overlooking Gravelly Lake. It's surrounded by 10 acres of private, manicured gardens designed by famous landscape architect Thomas Church, featuring rare and native plants, State Champion trees, over 900 rhododendrons, 30 Japanese maples, a long brickwalk flanked by boxwood parterre beds and topiary, a quatrefoil pool, gazebo teahouse, brick veranda with wisteria-covered terraces, and an impressive collection of statuary.
